July Break Bingo

July Break bingo is coming up next month, and I am going to contemplate my options in-between packing and otherwise preparing for my trip abroad tomorrow.

WIP - Complete a WIP abandoned for over a year
I think this will have to be Every Caller Wins a Prize which I've had locked since it's a WIP and totally unfinished, but it definitely fits the bill for abandoned for over a year and something I have a complete outline for so it... hopefully? Won't be horrible to finish.
Word: Capable - Antonyms: Incapable‚ Clumsy‚ Stupid‚ Ignorant
Something something Kagehira Mika. That's who's coming to mind. Tetora is a good candidate here too, with his complexes. I don't have specifics in mind but I do know which two characters I think I could work with here.
Location: Prison Yard
For this one, I ought to finish reading Bananafish and see if anything comes to mind. Or as a wildcard, Petshop of Horrors, Leon thinking about he can't really properly imagine the proper logistics of D locked up.
Location: Cemetery
The Locked Tomb time!! Either growing up in a cemetery planet (9th house) or the first (earth) as a cemetery planet. Don't particularly know what character(s) I'd use but I think that's the location covered.
Location: Lake
I admit I don't really have anything for this one, so I'm going through my personal reference library to try and come up with something but . . . Even considering how much I've always lived by the water, I don't really have a lot of experiences with lakes. I'm an ocean and river boy, I guess. But! I have been by Lough Leane at Killarney! And Crater Lake in Oregon! Which isn't really a summer vibe, but that's my experience. I know in film there's a lot of like, summer lakehouse tomfoolery. And I know about towns and valleys being flooded to make artificial lakes. Maybe there's something there? Like haunting a place that's sunk to the bottom of one, or something being dried up and the ruins being exposed. I think... god, who could I do this with. Maybe this is where I give up and pull out minecraft youtube fic. As long as I get the voices somewhat right, I could do something here, enough of them have done characters that are water related but. As I think about it, Gem is spooky haunted coastal town, Solidarity has done marshes, Martyn's thing was like a pirate, Scott also was kind of mer themed, Lizzie was the ocean queen... Damn. Really no one has done lakes. I'll just have to pick someone and assign them Lake instead.

Or... oh maybe an ocean creature ends up way up river in a lake. That's a starting point. So I'll figure something about that.

Or cheat and do an oxbow lake for a character associated with rivers, which widens out my options again.
Word: Maneuver - Antonyms: Cessation‚ Inactivity‚ Stoppage‚ Ignorance
Mech pilots. Something something mech pilots. Could return to the same world I wrote in Yaobikuni Holds Her Breath or I could do a Sovereign Waltz AU.
Location: Cabin
Okay so. There's a new life series coming up and Scar keeps bugging Etho to do quote-unquote "cabin-core" with him. Surely I will be able to come up with something.
Word: Frank - Antonyms: Secretive‚ Timidity‚ Shy‚ Evasive
A straight-forward conversation about a secret, or cornering someone shy into an honest conversation. One of the two.
Location: Barber Shop
I really don't have any fandoms I can link with what I think of with barber shops, I'll really need to reach if I'm going to try and do this one... I guess there's sweeny todd's shop? or aquatown's snips?
Writing Format: After-Action Report
This just has to be Saegusa Ibara, writing a military style after action report about his latest idol machinations. It's perfect, I have no choice.
Word: Possible - Antonyms: Impossible‚ Unlikely‚ Futile‚ Useless
A some endeavor to make a better world. A revolution of some sort. Overthrow without a vision of utopia to follow.
Word: Euphoria - Antonyms: Unhappiness‚ Sadness‚ Discouragement‚ Misery
The low that follows the high. Doing something that's wonderful or thrilling in the moment and then having to live with the consequences.

FREE
center space is free! I don't need to worry about this one.
Writing Format: Double Drabble (200 words exactly)
This one is easy but probably not something I can easily combine with other prompts.
Location: Ocean: Mermaid au, drowned at sea ghost au, many major cities that could be used as setting are seaside, apocalypse + floods AU.Location: Track
Realistically I know this means race track or running track or horse track but my heart says train tracks.
Location: Elevator
Did you know elevators are cool. Both old fashioned accordion doors, glass boxes with excellent views in sky-scrapers; methodically spooky creepy-pasta pressing them in a per-determined order or mashing the button to try and close it before someone you don't want to see enters.
Location: Ferris Wheel
I feel this is either fluffy themepark date or climbing up the side of one in an apocalyptic emergency with no in-between on the two scenarios.
Location: Side of the road
This is very road-trip or running away coded.
Word: Honest - Antonyms: Dishonest‚ Counterfeit‚ Deceitful‚ Corrupt
Evil noble vibes here. Or criminals.
Word: Weak - Antonyms: Strong‚ Unbreakable‚ Powerful‚ Stable
Poison or under a curse that causes weakness. Or a moment of weakness from lack of sleep, long-term stress, etc.
Word: Attack - Antonyms: Defense‚ Flight‚ Shelter‚ Shield
Response to an attack
Word: Bravery - Antonyms: Cowardice‚ Timid‚ Fear‚ Hesitate
I'll use the word not the antonym for this one. Facing something that requires it.
Word: Encourage - Antonyms: Discourage‚ Agitate‚ Sadden‚ Dispirit
Yeah sure the antonym again. Conversation about DON'T do the thing.
Word: Dominance - Antonyms: Weakness‚ Powerlessness‚ Submission‚ Surrender
About a struggle of the wills maybe.
